The best GEO tools for UK teams in 2026

A list written by one of the vendors

Axiom GEO is our product, and it is on this list. You should know that before you read any further. Everything we say about the other tools comes from their own websites, which we read on 25 October 2026. Each one is linked, so you can check it again before you buy.

For several readers another tool will be a better fit than ours, and we say so where it is.

The list is for UK buyers. Prices are in pounds where the vendor shows them, and there is a section on which tools are built here. If you want the questions to ask any vendor, our guide to choosing an AI visibility tool covers them.

What does a GEO tool do?

It asks AI engines the questions your buyers ask, on a schedule, and keeps what comes back. Each answer is read for your brand, your competitors and the pages the engine cited. The answers people get in ChatGPT or Gemini are private, so asking the same questions week after week is the only practical way to see them.

What do AI engines say when asked for GEO tools?

We track this ourselves. Between 26 September and 17 October 2026, Axiom GEO asked 18 buyer questions about GEO tools, such as "What is the best AI visibility tracking tool?". It asked ChatGPT with search, Gemini with Google Search, Perplexity and Claude, and recorded 232 answers.

The brands named most often were Semrush (in 156 answers), Otterly (151), Profound (147), Ahrefs (101), Peec AI (97) and SE Ranking (77). Axiom GEO was named in 2. We are a new product, and we would rather show you that than hide it.

139 of the answers cited web pages. The sites cited most were semrush.com (in 41 answers), seranking.com (31), rankability.com (29), zapier.com (28), llmpulse.ai (27), blog.hubspot.com (26) and otterly.ai (26). Many of those pages are "best tools" lists, and several are written by the vendors themselves. Bear that in mind with any list, this one included.

How do the main GEO tools compare for UK buyers?

Prices are the lowest listed on each vendor's own pricing page on 25 October 2026. "Not shown" means the page did not list a price.

Which GEO tools are built in the UK?

• Axiom GEO. Ours. Built and run in the UK by Axiom Flux Ltd, priced in pounds plus VAT, with UK rank tracking down to town level.
• UltraScout. UltraScout AI Ltd says it has a London head office and a UK support team. It prices in pounds, from £49 a month, and lists white label reports for agencies.
• Authoritas. The trading name of Analytics SEO Limited, with a London phone number on its site. It is an SEO platform that now tracks AI answers on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek, AI Overviews and Bing AI. Prices are not on its home page, so expect a sales call. See Authoritas.

Most other GEO tools are run from elsewhere. Otterly is Austrian, Peec AI is based in Berlin, and Profound and Semrush are American. For most buyers features matter more than location. It does matter if you want invoices in pounds or support in UK hours, and some buyers ask where their data is handled.

The tools one by one

Otterly

Otterly is the cheapest place to start. Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard $189 for 100 and Premium $489 for 400. Every plan covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude sold as add-ons. There is a free trial, and yearly billing takes 15% off.

It fits solo marketers and agencies starting out. Two catches for UK buyers. Prices are in dollars, and its help centre says there is no native white label. See Otterly pricing.

UltraScout

A London company priced in pounds, from £49 a month. Its page lists share of voice, a check for questions where competitors appear and you do not, content for those gaps, and white label reports. That makes it the obvious pick for a UK team that wants a local supplier without a big bill. One thing to ask about is engines. The page names seven but also says it tracks six. See UltraScout.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

If your team already lives in Semrush, the toolkit keeps classic SEO and AI answers in one account. It costs £80.22 a month per domain on yearly billing and tracks 25 custom prompts daily on ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity. The catch for agencies is the per-domain price, which climbs with every client you add. See Semrush AI pricing and our Semrush comparison.

SE Ranking

SE Ranking began as a rank tracker and has added AI on top. Core is £95 a month, or £76 billed yearly. The AI Search add-on is another £69 a month (£55.20 yearly) and gives 200 prompts on AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT. Perplexity, Gemini and Claude are not in it. Ahrefs Brand Radar

Ahrefs customers already have a few custom AI prompts, from 5 on the Lite plan. The paid prompt index starts at €179 a month and lets you look up any brand without writing prompts first, which is handy for pitches and research. It covers AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, with Claude in the index. Prices are in euros. See Ahrefs Brand Radar and our Ahrefs comparison.

Peec AI

Peec AI collects answers through each engine's web interface as a logged-out user, close to what a real person sees. You pick a set of models per plan and can add more. Its fact-checking marks claims as supported or contradicted. Agencies buy credits, one per prompt per model per day. Starter is €85 a month for 50 prompts, tracked daily on three models. Profound

Profound is the big-brand option, with up to nine engines on Enterprise, including Copilot, DeepSeek and Exa Search. The free trial runs 50 prompts daily for 7 days on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. There is also an Agency Growth plan with 400 credits a month per client workspace. Axiom GEO

Ours. Growth is £500 a month plus VAT for 3 sites and 100 prompts a week. Professional is £799 for 5 sites. Agency is £1,499 for up to 10 client workspaces and 350 prompts a week. Separate plans for dental practices start at £39 a month plus VAT.

Every plan can ask ChatGPT with search, Gemini with Google Search, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, plus Claude with or without search and the ChatGPT and Gemini apps. AI Overview checks run each week on your rank tracking keywords. Answer accuracy is in every plan and checks each claim in an answer against a fact sheet you approve. Rankings, reviews and client reports with your client's logo are in the same account.

The downsides are real. It costs more to start than Otterly, UltraScout or the Semrush toolkit. It does not track Copilot answers, and there is no prompt index for looking up any brand. Reports carry your client's logo but are not white label. See Axiom GEO pricing.

Which should you choose?

If budget comes first, start with Otterly, or UltraScout if you would rather pay a UK company in pounds. Teams already paying for Semrush, SE Ranking or Ahrefs should try those AI features before buying anything new. A large brand that needs many engines is better served by Profound or Peec AI. Whatever you shortlist, run it on 20 to 30 of your own buyer questions for a few weeks and read some raw answers yourself. If the dashboard says you are winning and the answers say otherwise, you have learned what you need to know.
